The project was accomplished utilizing Wix, which functions as both a website builder and editor. This post intends to serve as a comprehensive guide to creating a website using Wix. The initial step in constructing a website is establishing its framework or arrangement. Wix presents three methods for achieving this objective. The first method involves Wix automatically generating a website through answering a series of questions. The second method offers the option of selecting a template that aligns with the intended design, which can then be customized to specific specifications. The third method involves starting from scratch and building the website from the ground up. In my project, I employed the first method and adjusted the site suggested by Wix. This approach allowed me to save time and expedite the creation of the website. Additionally, Wix provides numerous features, such as customizable templates, a drag-and-drop interface, and an extensive collection of design elements, to make the website-building process efficient and user-friendly.

The majority of attention and effort put into a website is focused on the homepage, as it creates the initial impression for visitors. The homepage features the products and services being offered, accompanied by descriptions and noteworthy quotes. There is also a section about the company, as well as a contact section. The homepage serves as the primary gateway to the rest of the website. The next step in website development is often refining the menu and making final tweaks to the site. In addition, it is important to ensure that the homepage is visually appealing, easily navigable, and effectively conveys the desired message.

After careful thought and analysis, I opted to create a menu tailored to the needs of the business. The following image displays the process of creating the menu and various sub-pages such as a contact page, an about page, album section, and a page displaying the services offered. It is vital to ensure that these sub-pages receive the same level of consideration as the homepage, as they serve as critical sources of information for potential clients and customers. A well-structured and easy-to-use menu, along with visually appealing sub-pages, can enhance the user experience and help visitors locate the information they need more efficiently. A professional appearance and clear organization can also enhance the credibility and trustworthiness of the business in the eyes of its audience.

In recent decades, websites have been a static environment with limited UI/UX interactions. The invention of programming languages and JavaScript has allowed developers to create more interactive and complex websites. A common feature seen in most modern websites is a banner, carousel, or parallax background. It is represented by collections of slides or the addition of a video clip and manipulation of animation settings, aimed at attracting the attention of visitors. With the integration of these dynamic elements, websites have become a vital tool for businesses to showcase their products, services, and overall brand identity in a visually appealing and engaging manner.

The development of a website, its features, content, and pages is typically carried out in two main locations within the website editor. We have previously seen the Page Editor window, which deals with aspects related to layout, color themes, text content, and animations or effects of the page. The second window is the Dashboard. In this window, concepts such as adding products, services, financial aspects, business data and personnel, as well as widgets, are developed. It is in these windows that the website is managed, with features like reservation management, employee leave, payroll, and we can also work with our product database. In other words, the Dashboard serves as the central hub for managing various aspects of the website, from content to business operations.

The examples we see demonstrate the addition of products to a website and its creation within the dashboard environment. Detailed information, such as price, description, availability of deals and discounts, are also crafted within the dashboard. It is a platform where the website's management aspects, such as product offerings, pricing, and sales promotions, are efficiently handled. The dashboard provides a centralized hub for all the critical data, information and functionalities needed to operate and manage the website effectively.

Additionally, Wix also enables optimization of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) systems and guides users through the entire process to ensure that the website has the best possible search results. I was also interested in this aspect of creating a website, as it is crucial for ensuring the visibility and success of the website. With Wix's support, users can make sure that their website is optimized for search engines, increasing the chances of attracting more traffic and achieving higher rankings.

Additionally, I also considered the mobile version of my website and utilized the tools available through Wix to ensure that my website would look just as appealing on smaller devices such as smartphones and tablets.

By utilizing the aforementioned features of Wix, I am able to create a website that closely aligns with my original design concept, including the desired layout and functionalities. The latter part of this tutorial will focus on website designing, with a caption at the bottom showcasing the progress made on my project.
