For example, if an e-commerce website has an image of a red dress, the alt tag could be written as "red dress for sale." Alt tags help search engines understand the context of an image, making it easier to index and understand its content. Additionally, alt tags also provide valuable information to users who are visually impaired or have slow internet connections and are using screen readers to access the website.
