An "About Page" refers to a page on a website that is dedicated to introducing a company, organization, or individual to its audience (Petre & Tisan, 2020). According to Wagner (2015), the "About Page" is one of the most visited pages on a website and its primary purpose is to provide information and establish credibility and trust with the audience.

In the context of the "About Page," "brand stories" and "storytelling" play a crucial role in presenting the brand or individual's narrative in an engaging and emotional manner. Scott (2017) states that "storytelling is a critical component of successful branding" and this principle can be applied to the "About Page" as well. The "About Page" should not only provide information about the brand or individual but also engage the audience on an emotional level, thereby helping to establish a deeper connection with the brand (Petre & Tisan, 2020).

To create an effective "About Page," Petre and Tisan (2020) recommend including the following elements: a clear and concise introduction, a detailed history of the brand, information about the team, the brand's mission and values, testimonials, and a call to action. Wagner (2015) adds that best practices for creating an "About Page" include keeping the tone conversational, using high-quality images and videos, regularly updating the page, and measuring its performance.

In conclusion, the "About Page" is an essential component of a website that serves as an introduction to a company, organization, or individual. The "About Page" should effectively tell the brand story and engage the audience emotionally, while also providing relevant information and including a call to action. Best practices for creating an "About Page" include keeping the tone conversational, using high-quality visual aids, regularly updating the page, and measuring its performance to continually improve.

My "About Me" page presents itself in this manner. Please be advised that this website is an ongoing project, thus the content may continue to grow and be subject to minor modifications.

During my research, I found two websites with similar content to my own and compared their "About" pages. One of them was ZIGZAG, which had a large photo gallery and an extensive description in its "About" page. This description mentioned the website's long experience, professionalism, and the areas it specializes in. For a more detailed overview of this website, I refer you to this link: https://www.zigzagphotography.co.uk/about.

The other website I found was Samsara Studio. In its "About" page, it divided the content into social media and "Team." Under the "Team" tab, we can read about the services this website offers and the photographers' extensive experience. For a more detailed overview of this website, I refer you to this link: https://www.samsarastudio.co.uk/about/.

Both websites look professional and have well-prepared text in their "About" sections. It is worth mentioning that during my research, many websites did not have an "About" page, which I find to be a very important section on our website after reviewing the material. This is one of the places where potential clients can get to know us and our services, and we have the chance to create a sense of trust with them.
